The tried and tested C33 carbon rims combined with the somewhat simpler straight hubs are the perfect recipe for the enduro and gravity sector. The wheelset is of course e-bike ready. The C33 carbon rim was developed for maximum robustness with minimum weight. The pawl freehub ensures direct power transmission and a smooth ride feel.

Carbon for fitness

Until now, energy-saving carbon rims have been a compromise. Always expensive and either not particularly stable or, in order to guarantee a minimum level of robustness against punctures, not very light for the money spent. With persistent design zeal, special tool construction and carbon layup, it has finally been possible to better reconcile these opposites: The Syntace C-Series carbon rims can withstand more punctures than many well-known aluminum counterparts and, despite their robustness and 33 mm internal width, are really light at just 435 g in 27.5˝. To top off these advantages, the new Syntace production process also enables unrivaled prices at this level of quality.

Wide and light really saves grains

In the past, narrow rims and heavy, reinforced tires were the norm. Today, however, wide rims can be combined with new, lightweight tire types. But really wide, high-quality rims were inevitably still somewhat heavier than their narrower brothers, otherwise durability suffered. A vicious circle that carbon breaks. The wider the rim and the larger the diameter, the more the weight advantages of the black material come to bear in the Syntace C-Series rim. In addition, inertia is drastically reduced with this tire/rim combination.
