Metal Carbon and Metal ALX combine optimum performance, ultra-light design and unsurpassed robustness and set new standards on the trail.

Fulcrum's return to the MTB world initially focused on XC racing with the Red Zone wheel family and its various performance levels. This has evolved into a natural, continuous transition to trail riding. The new Metal Carbon and Metal ALX wheelsets were developed specifically for this segment and combine the high performance requirements on the trails with the need for agility and robustness.

The Metal Carbon wheelset was developed for performance on the trail. It has a carbon rim with an inner rim width of 32mm. This dimension is the result of a series of tests which have shown that this width is ideal for tires from 2.4 to 2.6".
