Whether for fun or out of conviction - many people don't want to do without their bike in winter. The Minaki III STX Winter shoes cut just as good a figure on snowy home trails as they do on the daily commute to work. The Sympatex© membrane and moisture-regulating fleece lining provide uncompromising weather protection.
In addition to the waterproof and breathable membrane, the upper fabric of the Minaki III STX MTB shoes is treated with Eco Finish PFC-free water and dirt repellent. Even if you're out and about without clipless pedals, you won't get your feet wet: the cleat mount in the sole is waterproof sealed. The insulation keeps your feet warm even in icy temperatures. An additional layer in the toe box eliminates the wind-chill effect (wind in combination with little to no movement of the toes).
Unlike its predecessor, the Minaki III STX Winter MTB shoe has the closure positioned on the side and not covered by the flap. This means that the fit can be adjusted at any time - even when wearing gloves. The sole is relatively stiff for optimum power transfer to the pedals, but still has enough grip for carrying and pushing off-road. To protect against sharp stones, the hard-wearing upper also has a robust TPU layer in the heel and toe area.
