PREDATOR 01TT is Prologo's integrated saddle for time trials. It is the result of an ambitious and meticulous research, development and design process that has led to the creation of an extremely innovative, light and aerodynamic model. A compact and high-performance saddle weighing just 135 grams, perfectly tailored to the needs of the most demanding teams, time trialists and triathletes who are always in search of maximum speed and performance.

Technologies

To further improve the aerodynamics of the new saddle, the shape of the PREDATOR 01TT was first designed using CFD simulation software and then perfected with special wind tunnel tests. The curved side wings on the sides of the base conceal and protect the rail and the seat clamp from air, while the rear part, which is even more pronounced and sharper than the previous version, directs the air flows coming from the cyclist's back parallel to the road, thus reducing the friction coefficient.

The revolutionary carbon rail, a real plate perfectly integrated into the base, has a flat surface that is much wider than conventional rails with a round or oval cross-section. An innovative and patented solution that guarantees maximum power transmission and improves rideability and the connection between seatpost and rider in all phases of pedaling, allowing the athlete to perceive even the slightest sensations of the frame.

PREDATOR 01TT is a modular saddle with sustainability in mind. The integrated plate and the base are designed so that they can be separated from each other. This makes it easier to replace, repair and recycle the various parts of the saddle at the end of the product's life.

The ergonomic shape of the saddle, which is only 110 mm wide, has been designed to allow maximum rotation of the athlete's pelvis so that they can adopt an extremely aerodynamic position and maintain it for longer. The seat of the PREDATOR 01TT has a surface with additional padding made of EVA material to provide maximum support. The wide central PAS channel, which extends over the entire length of the contact surface, reduces pressure peaks on the soft tissue and thus improves comfort.

Available in two versions

The extremely compact dimensions of this V-shaped saddle (260 x 110 mm) are all the more astonishing when you consider only the padded part, which is actually only 170 mm long. Two versions are available, which have the same compact dimensions but differ in the width of the nose.

In the narrow version, the saddle nose is 50 mm wide, while in the wide version it is 60 mm wide to ensure a larger contact surface and therefore more comfort. This wider version is recommended for triathletes who like to try their hand at longer time trials where they have to sit in the saddle for longer.
