The dimensions of Burgtec's rear wheel axles are based exactly on the frame manufacturer's specifications and rely on a leverless design that offers additional safety and more space if things get tight. The extremely durable thru axles made from aluminum 7075 are attached using a 6 mm Allen key (not included). In the event that the thru axle cannot be loosened in the conventional way, this model features another 6 mm hexagon socket on the drive side as "get out of jail" emergency solution.

Version for selected bicycles and frames from Specialized with an installation dimension of 12 x 148 mm (Boost). 174.5 mm total length, M12 x 1.0 mm thread. Replaces the models with the manufacturer numbers "S240200001" and "S220200002".
