Maxxis Dissector - more grip & control

The second generation of the Dissector offers first-class grip, high stability and precise cornering behavior. Ideal as a front and rear tire on trail bikes or as a fast rear tire for enduro use. The revised side and transition lugs with a larger contact area grip earlier and ensure a full, confident ride, especially when leaning and on hard surfaces. The proven center tread remains, but in a new individual arrangement for improved braking control and optimum adaptation to the surface. Additional sipes increase grip and durability.

Dual Compound

Two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. The characteristics of each compound and their arrangement are determined according to the desired properties of the tire. Different Dual Compounds are used depending on the tire category. For example, the compounds of Gravel and Downhill tires differ considerably.

EXO Protection

This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of the tire. It is very densely woven, lightweight and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced.

Wide Trail

tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension of 30-35 mm.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
