The Dimension R2 AGX 153 is the wide version of the new flat V-shaped gravel saddle from Prologo. This new model, specially designed for riding on unpaved roads, has all the improvements of the Dimension R2, the top product in one of the most popular saddle series of recent years.
AGX, short for Adventure - Gravel - Ciclocross, is the line of ergonomic saddles for gravel and all-road bikes designed to ensure the right balance between performance and comfort on any surface, even over long distances. Compared to traditional models, the AGX saddles have a more flexible base made of new generation materials and additional padding made of low-density foams. These features ensure better absorption of shocks and vibrations without compromising or impairing power transmission, even when riding on unpaved roads.

Anatomical shape

The V-shape ensures less freedom of movement and more precise positioning on the saddle surface. The forward anatomical center makes it easier to sit in the front of the saddle. The flat anatomical shape of this saddle, which favors an even more forward and aerodynamic riding position, makes it ideal for people with very good pelvic flexibility.
The 153 mm wide version is characterized by a wider seat and thicker padding for greater comfort. It is the perfect choice for people with a wider pelvis or for those who need better weight distribution. The Dimension R2 AGX 153 has 5 mm thicker foam padding than the standard version.

Technologies

Prologo's 3D Slide Control technology improves the cyclist's grip and stability, helping them to maintain the correct position on the saddle even when tackling off-road routes.
The Dimension R2 AGX 153 features a completely redesigned tip with a width of 40 mm, which is 30% wider than the previous model and has a more rounded side profile. The new design has been developed to further increase the comfort of the saddle, especially in phases of maximum power transfer to the pedals.
The PAS channel (wider and deeper than the standard version) prevents numbness and reduces compression of soft tissues, tendons and vessels, improving blood circulation in the pelvic area. The reinforced padding ensures excellent comfort, especially over long lengths.

Base and splint

The splint is made of Tirox (light metal alloy) with excellent vibration damping. The base is made of injection-molded carbon for Tirox rails. This material offers an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort.
