The Scratch M5 PAS AGX Slide Control is the innovative, wide and gravel-specific version of Prologo's legendary round saddle. Compared to the previous model, it has been fundamentally revised in terms of both the materials and the shape of the saddle nose.

AGX stands for Adventure - Gravel - Cyclocross and is a line of ergonomic saddles specially designed for the gravel and all-road world. They offer the ideal balance between performance and comfort on any terrain - even over long distances.

Compared to conventional models, the AGX saddles have a more flexible base made of new generation materials and an additional 2 mm thick padding made of low-density foam. These features ensure better absorption of shocks and vibrations without compromising or impairing power transmission, even when riding on unpaved trails.

Anatomical shape

The redesigned front part of this saddle has a flatter and wider nose, which helps the cyclist to maximize drive units as well as on steep climbs. The characteristic T-shape of this saddle offers more freedom of movement and better positioning, providing comfort and protection in the friction areas. The rearward offset anatomical center allows cyclists to easily vary their position and use the entire length of the saddle. The anatomically rounded shape of the Scratch M5 AGX provides additional support for the lumbar area and also helps people with limited pelvic mobility to maintain a stable position.

Technologies

The Multi Sector System comprises different, separate zones on the saddle, each consisting of different interactive foams and separate single-cell padding. Prologo's 3D Slide Control technology improves the cyclist's grip and stability and helps them to maintain the correct position on the saddle, even off-road. The central PAS (Perineal Area System) channel prevents pressure peaks and numbness and promotes blood circulation. The ergonomic design and variable density foams eliminate pressure points in the perineal area.

Base and rail

The rail is made of Nack (Nano Carbon Fiber), a blend of carbon fibers, Kevlar and aluminum filaments, ideal for cyclists looking for maximum stiffness and lightness. The base is made of long fiber carbon for Nack rails. These materials offer an excellent compromise between stiffness and comfort.
