Gravel tread designed to take you beyond where the pavement ends, to where the terrain is less maintained. Its design includes a tightly packed, fast-rolling center for straight line control and speed, open transition knobs for either sandy or wet terrains, and more aggressive shoulder knobs for controlled cornering and stability in loose conditions.

With the RACE construction, it starts where other tires stop - Challenge utilizes ultralight 60TPI Nylon Superlight casings and superior tread compounds - to give the traditional vulcanized tires excellent ride feel and quality that is more affordable than the handmade offerings.

Race (Vulcanized) | Value and Performance – It's tough to beat the durability, good performance and low cost of vulcanized construction. The RACE series brings iconic Challenge tread patterns and compounds to more riders.

Casing: Nylon Superlight 60TPI | Vulcanized Nylon tire casings are the industry standard. Easy to produce and offering excellent durability and high performance at a moderate cost, they are the most common variety of tire available.

Compound: SMART-V | Specially formulated version of the SMART compound that is adapted to the different construction of vulcanized tires.

Puncture protection: PPS | The Puncture Protection System (PPS) is a tough, tightly-woven fabric placed between the tread and casing to increase puncture resistance.

 

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
