Compact shape
The compact, Y-shaped saddle silhouette of the SMS Sport Gel Women gives you more legroom and reduces the risk of your cycling shorts getting caught on the nose of the saddle during steep climbs. Unwanted contact between your legs and the saddle is effectively prevented—so you always have full control over your mountain bike, even on steep climbs and in technical sections. Additionally, friction and pressure on the inner thigh—where sensitive nerves and blood vessels are located—are reduced.
   
Deep relief opening
The deep relief opening, specially adapted to the female anatomy, directs pressure away from the sensitive genital area to the sit bones, reliably preventing discomfort and numbness, even during hard impacts and on rough terrain. In addition to the opening, the saddle shape and curvature have also been adapted so that pressure is distributed particularly evenly despite the enlarged relief channel. This allows you to achieve longer and better riding.
   
Effective protection against dirt
If you spend a lot of time riding on wet and muddy trails or in very cold weather, you should protect your most sensitive body parts as best as possible. The gray Ergon weather protection insert, weighing just seven grams, can be clicked into the saddle’s ergonomic relief opening in a single step, providing effective protection against wind and splashes without negatively affecting the saddle’s ergonomic features.
   
Even pressure distribution
When cycling, most of your body weight rests on the small surface area of the saddle. To prevent discomfort caused by pressure, impacts, and vibrations, the SMS Sport Gel Women’s Saddle is equipped with an Orthopedic Comfort Foam pad, whose integrated gel pads provide additional damping and better pressure distribution across the sit bones and surrounding tissue.

Especially during athletic rides, every gram of weight saved translates to better performance and easier bicycle control. The TiNox SL saddle rails reduce the total weight in size S/M to a super-light 270 grams (280 grams for size M/L).
   
BMR LINE - The benchmark for optimal fit 
The Biomechanical Reference Line (BMR line) is marked on the SMS Sport gel women’s saddle. The BMR line is the point where the saddle has a width of exactly 75 millimeters. This point is also used by professional bike fitters as a reference point among the many saddle shapes on the market. As a substitute for the difficult-to-determine saddle center, the BMR line becomes an important reference for the precise adjustment of saddle height, depth, and tilt.
