RGXC – The Epitome Of High-End

A Swiss pocket knife for road bikes, gravel bikes and XC racing machines. These are the RGXC titanium crank arms from 5DEV. They are precision-manufactured using a robot system developed by the company's in-house automation team, which laser-welds the crank arms with hollow construction and machines them using CNC technology. The result combines competitive performance with durability, and looks damn good too.

The optimized stiffness-to-weight ratio not only ensures high resistance, but also promises maximum propulsion. The slim, aerodynamic profile provides even greater efficiency, proven to reduce energy expenditure by 1.3 to 4.4 watts (at 24 mph / approx. 38.6 km/h, CFD-tested). Another advantage of the low-profile design, in addition to improved airflow, is minimized contact with rocks and the ground when riding off-road. At the same time, the construction dampens vibrations reducing leg fatigue, especially on long rides, leaving you with enough reserves to keep pushing. Last but not least, the diamond-coated hardware, also made of titanium, helps prevent corrosion, reduce weight and improve overall functionality.

Manufacturer's note: 5DEV advises against equipping its titanium cranks with pedals that feature titanium axles. In addition, when attaching pedals, always use a mounting paste or appropriate grease.
