HighRoad 3.0 – The Ultimate Road Bike Tire

Since introducing the HighRoad, Maxxis has pursued the goal of offering the ultimate road bike. HYPR Compound | This full silica compound is Maxxis' most powerful rubber mixture for road bike tires. Compared to previous technologies, the HYPR compound is characterized by noticeably lower rolling resistance and significantly more grip on wet roads. And best of all: these optimizations are not at the expense of the extremely long service life.

K2 Protection | This exclusive fabric from Maxxis offers even more puncture protection than conventional Kevlar fibers or models with Vectran. At the same time, the construction is not only light and supple, but also contributes to a convincing handling and maximum performance.

Aramid Bead | Bead cores made from aramid fibers are just as safe as those made from metal wire, but weigh around 50 grams less. The material also allows the tire to be folded, making transport easier.
