The Rekon from Maxxis is a true all-rounder and never lets its rider down. Particularly popular is the combination of the Rekon for the rear wheel and the Forekaster for the front wheel.

Dual Compound | Two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. The characteristics of each compound and their arrangement are determined according to the desired properties of the tire. Different Dual Compounds are used depending on the tire category. For example, the compounds of Gravel and Downhill tires differ considerably.

Aramid Bead | Bead cores made from aramid fibers are just as safe as those made from metal wire, but weigh around 50 grams less. The material also allows the tire to be folded, making transport easier.
