The Giant Propel models at a glance

Giant Propel Advanced
The Giant Propel Advanced is your entry into the Propel series. It combines an Advanced-composite frame with AeroSystem Shaping technology and OverDrive Aero. Depending on the model, builds range from mechanical Shimano 105 to electronic Shimano 105 Di2 and Ultegra Di2.
Giant Propel Advanced Pro
The Giant Propel Advanced Pro also uses an Advanced-composite frame, but pairs it with an Advanced SL carbon fork and higher-tier components. Current models pair electronic shifting with 50 mm carbon wheels, with groupsets ranging from Shimano 105 Di2 and SRAM Rival AXS to Ultegra Di2, Force AXS, and Dura-Ace Di2.
Giant Propel Advanced SL
The Giant Propel Advanced SL sits at the top of the range. Its Advanced SL composite frame uses One-Piece Molding construction to keep weight low. It also features an integrated Vector seatpost, while the current flagship build pairs SRAM RED AXS with CADEX Max 50 wheels.

AeroSystem Shaping
AeroSystem Shaping refers to the shape of the frame tubes. Instead of classic teardrop profiles, Giant uses truncated ellipses – tube shapes with a cut-off tail. Giant developed these profiles using CFD simulation and wind tunnel testing across different airflow angles, more closely reflecting the conditions you encounter on the road. That lets Giant optimize aerodynamic performance across a range of yaw angles.
Advanced-Grade Composite
The Propel frame is built from Advanced-Grade Composite. Giant weaves and processes the carbon fiber in-house, placing each layer precisely where it's needed. The updated frame delivers higher pedaling and torsional stiffness, while the Vector seatpost flexes more than the previous generation's. Your effort goes straight into forward motion, while the added compliance takes the edge off rough roads.
Integrated cockpit
The Propel's front end is designed for clean airflow. A D-shaped steerer tube with matching spacers routes the brake and shift lines inside the cockpit and headset. With no exposed cables, the airflow meets a clean, uninterrupted front end. You can still adjust your riding position, since the spacers can be changed without rerouting the cables.
