Description

Falkenjagd Aristos GT Gravel - Titanium Frame Set - UDH - 2026

Falkenjagd Aristos GT Gravel - Your perfect companion for unforgettable adventures!

In the good old days of the automobile, GT stood for “Grand Tourisme”: cars of large size with plenty of space and powerful engines, which were particularly well-suited for touring and travel. The Aristos GT fully embodies this tradition, even though it has no engine and only two wheels. The newest addition to the Aristos family is also predestined for touring and travel, in the form of bikepacking - the modern form of touring cycling, often off the beaten path. GT therefore stands for “Gravel Tourer” on the Aristos.

The Aristos GT combines the “classic” geometry of cx bikes with the integration of R-bikes, all with a focus on luggage capacity. And the Aristos GT sets new standards for titanium bicycles in terms of value for money.

Details on the Falkenjagd Aristos GT Gravel

Resistant to dirt, water, and salt, titanium is the ideal material for an all-around gravel bike that can be used as a touring bike or for weekend excursions.

Ideal for carrying luggage

The Aristos GT features largely integrated cable routing, similar to the bikes in the R-Series. However, on the GT, this integration serves less for design and a “clean” look, and more to better accommodate luggage - such as a handlebar bag. With a “standard” cockpit, the cables get in the way here, making it difficult to attach the bag without issues. On the GT, the cables are routed through the steerer; when the R-Series 3D stem is installed, all cables disappear completely.

Also to better accommodate luggage, there are two threaded eyelets on the top tube for top cases: handy for storing small essentials like a phone, money, papers, and bars that you want to access quickly. This means the GT has four mounting points on the main frame: on the top tube, on the seat tube, and two on the down tube (front and rear).

Classic & modern

The GT’s geometry is based on the CX and the R, combining classic elements with integration. The rear triangle and fork are designed for 28" wheels, accommodating tire widths up to 45mm or 40 mm with fenders. The frame tubes are rounder than on the CX, which not only creates a “more classic” look but also allows for a lower price, as the double- or triple-butted tubes used here are less expensive than tube sets with multiple re-formations, as found on the Aristos CX.

Also for reasons of cost and weight, the GT comes with a carbon fork. It is lighter, yet more affordable, and features three threaded eyelets on each side for so-called “AnyCages” - small cages for attaching lightweight luggage or additional bottle cages. Unlike the titanium fork on the CX and R, however, a front rack cannot be mounted. A particularity of the new fork is the “FlipFlop” mount for the front wheel, which allows you to adjust the trail and thus the bicycle’s handling characteristics: more agile in the rear position, smoother in the front.

Bottom Bracket & Rear Triangle

In response to requests from many customers, the GT’s bottom bracket is no longer available in the “Pressfit” version but as a threaded “T47.” This allows for the installation of 30mm aluminum axles, making the frame-fork set even more attractive to those who want to build their dream bike with various components. Additionally, the bottom bracket features the “service flap” familiar from the R model, which makes the cables more accessible.

Comfort & Feedback

Comfort is essential on a touring-oriented bicycle to ensure riders can enjoy a fatigue-free ride for as long as possible. On root-covered trails, rough gravel paths, during all-road rides, or on fast “hardpack,” good vibration damping is indispensable.
