FOX 36 – The Apex Of All-Mountain

With an excellent balance of stiffness, control and smooth travel, the latest 36 brings the power of a "big fork" to the trail and all-mountain sector. With enhanced steering precision and butter-smooth suspension performance, the FOX 36 delivers an enduro feel without the usual extra weight. In addition, the trail focused GRIP X damping has been revised to more closely match the ride feel of the GRIP X2 models. The result is a performance per gram that rivals any other fork in its class.

As a representative of the Performance Elite series, this suspension fork is in no way inferior to the Factory models in terms of functionality. The difference lies in the upper tubes, which are made of 7000-series aluminum and feature a black anodized finish instead of the golden Kashima coating.

GRIP X Damper | The revised version of the versatile GRIP X damping system is not only quieter but also delivers an even better riding experience. It is based on the performance of the downhill-specialized GRIP X2 damping system but weighs a full 120 grams less, making it ideal for trail riding.

Glidecore Air Spring | The seamlessly integrated FLOAT Glidecore air suspension reduces friction by moving with the fork under dynamic load. This movement is controlled and damped by o-rings with a large cross-section, which are particularly effective at reducing initial friction. The result is noticeably smoother operation.

Arch Against | The casting features a generatively designed arch that encloses the down tubes, thereby increasing the fork’s torsional stiffness by a full 20 % compared to the previous model. Meanwhile, strategically placed cutouts help minimize weight.
