The Era handlebars have been completely redesigned, with the stem clamp area narrowed to allow both faster tapering and earlier rise to achieve the GL set-up meticulously researched by Race Face for greater compliance and comfort. GL tuning is the Goldilocks moment and provides the perfect balance for most bikers: not too hard and not too soft.

Less shortening. More comfort.

Shortening handlebars makes them stiffer and ultimately less comfortable. Instead of producing a single 800 mm version and expecting bikers to shorten it, Race Face produces six carbon handlebars of different lengths and matching Rise, all with GL tuning for reduced fatigue.

Impressive numbers.

Almost 100 individual pieces of hand-placed carbon fibers were bonded with a hardened epoxy resin, with a specific layup chosen for each handlebar variant. The result is the best strength-to-weight ratio of all handlebars tested by Race Face.
