The Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay was designed around the Dyname S4 Pro drive system and has everything you need for aggressive e-biking on the trail. From podium finishes at the Enduro World Series to victory at Rampage, the Altitude platform has proven what it’s capable of. Now Rocky Mountain has taken everything that defines the Altitude riding experience and incorporated it into its most advanced e-mtb yet.

Its motor not only delivers plenty of watts, but also up to 100 smiles per minute. The maximum torque falls somewhere between “This is awesome” and “Holy cow - I don’t want to go home.” So go for it: ride down the trail, carve through the turns, and then switch to “Ludicrous” to get back to the top faster than you ever thought possible.

At the heart of the new Rocky Mountain Powerplay line is the brand-new Dyname S4 Pro drive system, which features a number of refinements over the previous generation. The Dyname™ S4 Pro is incredibly powerful and a true frontrunner among electric bike motors. Rocky Mountain has designed the power curve in the software so that the 108 Nm is delivered smoothly, allowing you, the rider, to use the pedals gently through tight turns or really open it up on a rough, powerful section of the trail.

By developing a torque sensor that precisely measures chain tension, Rocky Mountain has created a mechanical solution for what is typically an additional digital process—one that usually causes a greater delay in power delivery—helping them reduce that delay and achieve the desired riding feel.
