The Arione R5 is a high-performance road bike saddle featuring innovative Nylon Carbon Thermoplastic Composite WingFlex™ technology. This enables the Arione R5 to deliver outstanding performance with an optimized balance between stiffness and weight.

k:ium is a proprietary frame concept from fi'zi:k. It combines a special metal alloy with a particular tube design and a specialized finishing process, which improves fatigue resistance on the frame surface. Result: an 8% weight reduction compared to solid titanium. k:ium offers an optimal strength-to-weight ratio and high corrosion resistance. 

The WING FLEX™ shell flexes downward in the critical area where the inner thighs come into contact with the saddle, enabling a more efficient and full range of motion when pedaling. In combination with the saddle’s increased length, the system allows the rider to find the most comfortable seating position (multiple riding positions) and eliminate recurring issues (such as a saddle that is too long, too short, too wide, or too narrow). Whether the rider has large or narrow thighs, a wide or narrow pelvis: the saddle adapts to the rider, not the rider to the saddle: Custom Fit—like a tailor-made solution. The Integrated Clip System is an integrated interface in the saddle base that allows for quick attachment and convenient removal of I.C.S. saddle bags and accessories. It is a clean, simple, fast, and secure attachment method that requires no tools.
