An easier gear for your AXS derailleur. With the 2nd generation of Garbaruk's cassettes specified for Gravel, you won't run out of gears even on steep climbs thanks to a whopping 500 % transmission range. The GEN2.0 is the product of extensive research and development work, which began as an attempt to take feedback on existing models into account and culminated in a completely new design. And the result is truly impressive.

In addition to the usual Garbaruk qualities such as low weight, stiffness and durability, the Gen. 2 cassettes shine with improved durability, chain guidance and smoothness. While redesigned shifting ramps and a revised tooth shape ensure less indexing sensitivity, the modified profile of the largest sprocket keeps the chain securely in position at all times, even when pedaling backwards. The tooth design also ensures smoother interaction with the chain, which reduces the noise level and makes shifting even smoother.

Concerning the choice of materials, Garbaruk relies on tried and tested. According to its own proven recipe, the 11 small sprockets are milled from a single piece of heat-treated steel and supplemented by a securely fastened, large aluminum sprocket. Set up in this way, the Gravel cassettes can easily withstand the high torques of E-Bikes, too.

Compatibility notes:

10-48 teeth – Plug & Play. This gradation works directly and without further adjustments with the standard XPLR AXS components from SRAM, without a cage and with a reasonable tolerance for adjustment errors. For use with a road bike-specific AXS rear derailleur, a corresponding cage from Garbaruk is required (not included).

10-50 teeth – For a problem-free operation of this gradation, a corresponding rear derailleur cage as well as a derailleur pulley kit from Garbaruk are required (not included). This applies to use with both road- and gravel-specific AXS rear derailleurs.
