ax-lightness ULTRA 60CX - High-profile performance for road, triathlon, and cyclocross

The ULTRA 60CX is the aerodynamic specialist of the ULTRA CX family: With a 60 mm profile height, it maximizes aerodynamic efficiency on flat stages, in triathlons, and during time trials—all while having an impressively low weight of only 1,270 grams (including tubeless rim tape, ±5%). The 30 mm outer width and 24 mm inner width are optimized for road tires starting at 28 mm and provide optimal tire support as well as smooth rolling characteristics. Thanks to the flared rim profile, the wheelset remains highly controllable even in crosswinds—a decisive advantage on open courses. The maximum system weight is 130 kg.

The 20 carbon blade spokes per wheel are laced in a double-cross pattern, distributing the load evenly across the rim. The result: an exceptionally stiff and durable wheelset that offers maximum stability and a direct riding feel in both cyclocross and long time trial rides. Compared to steel or stainless steel spokes, the carbon blade spokes further minimize air resistance thanks to their aerodynamic shape.

At the heart of the drivetrain are the in-house ax-lightness ULTRA CX hubs with a ratchet freewheel system and ceramic bearings for minimal rolling resistance and superior smoothness. The matte UD finish with black laser-etched decals completes the overall look of a wheelset that excels in every discipline.
