Description of Challenge Grifo Pro Open Folding Tire - 33-622 - black/tan

For years cyclocross World Champion, if you are a professional rider or you just like to ride hard under extreme conditions, Grifo is the tire you need. Unbelievable grip and no compromise at all on rolling resistance.

The 300 TPI casing made of polyester is very supple and comes with a Puncture Protection Strip (PPS), which is an extra layer of highly resistant material between the casing and the tire to reduce the risk of punctures.

Open tubular tires mount like a standard clincher and are made using the same process as regular tubular tires, but instead of sewing the casing together, the sides of the tubular casing are folded around aramid fiber cords to produce the beads. The result is a tire that maintains most of the suppleness and ride quality gained from a tubular to offer excellent traction and cornering grip, low rolling resistance and shock absorption.

Symbol Picture: The picture shows the tubular version. The clincher version comes with a centered imprint on the tan colored sidewalls.

Customer Reviews
Habe diesen Reifen in schwarz/weiß gekauft.

Sehr empfehlenswert!
