BIG APPLE is an intelligent and economical concept for comfortable cycling. The air in the tire acts as a natural suspension. The Big Apple balloon tire was developed specifically to utilise this effect. Inflated to 2 bar it rolls easily and absorbs impacts, acting like a full suspension bike. Besides which tire suspension is far less harsh than long spring travel. Using simple technology, cycling can remain low-maintenance and lightweight.
K-Guard: The minimum standard for protection belts of Schwalbe. This Guard has been proven for many years. It consists of natural rubber and is reinforced with KEVLAR® fibers. Together with the 50 EPI carcass all Active Line tires are well protected against punctures. Schwalbe Puncture Protection Level 3.
