The development of the new trail collection was challenging for Assos. They broke new ground. Aerodynamics versus casual comfort, a clear cut and technically functional features. With the Assos Trail jersey for women you will find exactly that, because it is tailored to riders who want an optimized top in which they can master both the mountains and the valleys.
To do this, Assos started with Triangle circular knit fabric - the material that is so light and flexible that it's perfect for warm-season jerseys. It's durable, breathable and wicks moisture away from the skin to keep you dry on both the ascent and descent. To maintain this breathability, Assos has incorporated the new Bi-Stretch 3-Mesh fabric on the underarms to provide continuous airflow throughout the jersey.
Once Assos had specified the fabric, they next focused on the fit. As they wanted to create a close-fitting yet comfortable jersey for women that would still be suitable for all the different positions you take during a demanding ride, they ended up with the new trailFit. This is the real secret of the trail collection, as the versatile cut offers space for lightweight protectors and is ideal for enduro riding, flow trails or all other types of routes.
