The Rekon is a fast rolling XC trail tire inspired by the Ikon, Maxxis' most popular XC tire. Medium and technical terrain is its home. Wide center lugs provide good control when braking and accelerating. L-shaped side lugs provide secure grip in corners, even on loose surfaces. The Rekon has all the prerequisites to become just as popular as the Icon.

3C MaxxTerra

The right 3C compound for Maxxis Enduro and Freeride tires. This compound is characterized by smooth uphill performance and excellent downhill grip as well as a long service life.

Tubeless Ready

Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can ride with less air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other "tubeless ready" tires. The bead of the TR tires is completely covered with a layer of rubber, just like a real UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless fitting is successful on all rims with standard dimensions from the very first inflation and with little liquid.

EXO Protection

This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewall of countless Maxxis tires. It is very densely woven, lightweight and extremely flexible. This guarantees consistent and outstanding performance as well as good puncture protection.

Wide Trail

The tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but work excellently on all rims with an inner dimension of 30-39 mm.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
