The "Achilles" works similar to an Achilles tendon bandage, but can be worn comfortably in any flat sports shoe. The sock with integrated silicone nubs, above the edge of the shoe, massages the tissue at the side of the Achilles tendon and promotes better blood circulation during sports.
This helps with Achilles tendon complaints such as achillodynia, tendinopathy and paratendinopathy, as well as in later stages of rehabilitation after Achilles tendon rupture or irritation. Complaints are relieved and the tendon gradually becomes healthier, more elastic and more efficient.
The integrated sports bandage in the sock garment stabilizes the ankle with its built-in compression. The "Achilles" can also be used in connection with eccentric training. The sock can be used as running socks, soccer socks, tennis socks or for any other kind of sport as well as for professional or leisure activities.
