After the mountain bike flagship XTR has already set benchmarks and Deore XT and SLX have followed suit, the Deore M6100 now rounds off Shimano's 12-speed lineup. It is complemented by the components of the M5100 and M4100 series which will equip 11- and 10-speed drivetrains at the same high level.

Regarding the price, the current Shimano Deore groups are positioned in the entry-level range, but are not prepared to compromise in terms of performance, quality and reliability. Almost everything that the high end groups XTR, XT and SLX have to offer in terms of technology, innovation, performance and range of functions, you will find in the Deore components, too.

Shimano Deore FC-M6130 crankset

The Shimano Deore FC-M6130-1 crank is designed for 1x12-speed drivetrains and features a 2-piece construction keeping the weight low. Using a Dynamic Chain Engagement+ chainring, the 1-speed crankset holds the chain safely even on rough terrain and guarantees at the same time an efficient, smooth and quiet drivetrain.

Dynamic Chain Engagement+

Dynamic Chain Engagement+ is a special gear teeth profile designed for use in 1-speed chainring configurations for XC, Enduro and Trail Riding. It gives more chain retention and smoother pedaling – even over bumpy terrain. Chain retention of any gear will reduce abrasion and worn out.
