ACROS Ai-52 Headset Lower Part 1 1/8 Inches Drop In IS52/30

To maximize the compatibility with different fork steerers, bikes and frames, the upper and lower parts of ACROS headsets are being offered separately in a great variety of dimensions.

The integrated ACROS Ai-52 Headset Lower Part features the seal technologies from ACROS and a high-end bearing in stainless quality for 1 1/8" forks and frames with a 52mm inner diameter headtube.

Precisely manufactured angular contact bearings made of stainless steel form the heart of the Ai-52 and offer play-free and smooth steering characteristics for a long time.

VULCANIZED SEALING
A sturdy vulcanized seal bonded to the compression ring and the base plate as an additional and first barrier against water and dirt.

V-LIP
In addition to the new vulcanized seal on the compression ring and the base plate, the sealing discs of the bearings now have a special v-groove double split lip (V-LIP). Furthermore, the V-LIP is recessed in a fine polished groove, which significantly increases the sealing effect once again.

The name ACROS Ai-52 describes the integrated (also known as drop in) Ahead headset for 1 1/8" forks and frames with a 52mm headtube. The S.H.I.S. denotation (see attachment) of the lower part offered here is IS52/30.
