Compact shorts that fill the gap between summer racing shorts and spring/autumn knickers thanks to insulating textiles and an aerodynamic fit - for professionals as well as riders who ride outdoors all year round without exception.

For the transition season in fall and spring, when comfortable, versatile shorts are still the preferred choice, additional thermal protection for the thighs is definitely welcome. The shorts can be worn alone in cooler spring/autumn temperatures or in combination with knee or leg warmers for more extensive thermal protection in cold weather.

Features of the Assos DYORA RS S9 spring fall bib shorts for women

The fabric sections around the thighs are made from the brushed OSMOS Heavy material, which has a highly insulating, breathable fleece inner surface for a super-soft feel against the skin. The outer jersey layer acts like the "shell" of the shorts, providing even better support and compression for the leg muscles. The double-layer twinDeck structure at the front has been fitted with a SPHERE Ultra insert to prevent icy air from penetrating.
Based on the S9 raceFit model, the A-Lock Engineering technology has been integrated into the shorts for maximum stability so that the padding does not slip while riding. The RollBar straps, the ErgoBox and the one-piece butterfly panel combine when shifting weight in the saddle and ensure smooth comfort and stability during high performance.
Carbon Xbib: A single section of elastic material that is folded over to form a supportive A-shaped frame and provides limited vertical stretch at the rear. A more flexible material made from an antibacterial carbon fabric has been used over the "X" intersection. It wicks away moisture and lies flat on the front.
ultraLight Leg Grippers: The newly developed Lycra end band - free of silicone - wraps around the thigh for a soft, particularly light hold.
DYORA RS Insert: Antibacterial microfiber top layer in a grey 3D basalt colorway - a tribute to volcanic rock that gives us strength, stability and courage
superAir microShock Foam: A lightweight open-cell foam with a shock-absorbing structure that always retains its original shape and fills the resulting gaps every time your riding position changes due to weight shifting in the saddle.
3D waffle: A patented three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability and has no excess weight.
