The Ortles Tirol Wool Responsive women's skirt is a very warm, windproof, water-repellent outer layer. It is versatile and can be optimally stowed in the backpack. Its lightweight, stretch nylon fabrics and elastic hybrid padding make for a very comfortable fit. The skirt comes with a PFC-free, durable water-repellent finish (DWR).
TirolWool® comes from Tyrolean mountain sheep. Due to the high alpine environment, they produce a wool with better insulating properties that is interwoven with Responsive polyester fibers into which thermoreactive minerals have been introduced. These minerals recycle the body's natural infrared energy (FIR) and gradually release it. They improve blood circulation and oxygenation, thus providing more warmth and comfort. Thanks to the high wool content, the skirt keeps the torso and thighs nice and warm even when wet.
The ergonomically cut waist with stretch inserts and the integrated zipper on the side allow for easy on and off and quick access to the clothing layers underneath. The zipper also functions as a generous ventilation opening.
