ALUGEAR ELM SuperBoost chainrings are among the lightest chainrings on the market. With expertise and intensive testing, Alugear has optimized the design of the chainring arms and modified them so that only minimal compromises in impact resistance have been made in exchange for massive weight reduction.

The chainrings are CNC-milled from 7075 T6 aluminum and industrially hard anodized. This process offers long-lasting, comprehensive protection against impacts, ensures a good appearance, and provides an excellent feel on every chainring. A 1x tooth profile eliminates chain noise, reduces wear, and ensures smooth operation of the entire system in the most common combinations, such as 10-, 11-, and 12-speed drivetrains. The narrow wide teeth always guide the chain reliably.

The tooth profile is specially designed for use with mtb chains.

Compatibility:

• For cranks with mtb SRAM 3-hole direct mount | Axle type: GXP, DUB, BB30.
• For Boost rear hubs 148 mm, 150 mm, or 157 mm.
• For mtb chainrings, you can use the following chains: all 10-, 11-, 12-speed (including 12sp SRAM Eagle) and 10-, 11-, 12-speed Shimano chains.

Recommendations:

• For even greater chain security, we recommend using a rear derailleur with a clutch system.
• Use the standard chain ring bolts that came with your crankset.
• We recommend using a new chain with your new ALUGEAR chainring.
