1900 SPLINE wheels are the entry-level model in DT Swiss' MTB range. This range aims to provide as many mountain bikers as possible with wheels they can rely on. To increase this already great reliability of these handmade wheels, the 1900 SPLINE wheel is equipped with the DT 370 hub.
Tubeless tires offer several distinct advantages over the traditional tire and tube combination. The tire can be ridden with less pressure without risking "snakebites" and thus offers more grip. The lower pressure also provides a more comfortable ride. The absence of the tube means that there is no friction between the tube and the tire, and therefore less rolling resistance when riding off-road and over obstacles.
DT Pro Lock spoke nipples prevent the spoke-nipple connection from loosening on its own. A patented two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread, which allows the construction of extremely durable wheels. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and then hardens completely. Repeated re-centering is possible without any problems, whereby the adhesive strength slightly decreases with each re-centering.
