The Pirelli Scorpion XC RC LITE folding tyre combines low weight and minimal rolling resistance with good puncture protection and super off-road characteristics. This competition-oriented tire was developed for a variety of terrains as they are usually found on Olympic Cross Country courses. It doesn't matter if it's a man-made or natural track, it can handle any hard or loose surface.

The LITE technology provides the best rolling characteristics, suppleness in the driving feel and maximum speeds. The higher air volume of the 2.4 inch wide tire is intended to achieve higher speeds uphill, downhill and on rough terrain. This dimension is an ideal fit for the currently much used rims with a 30C inner channel.

SmartGRIP compound

This high-tech rubber compound is the result of Pirelli's off-road racing experience. Pirelli is present in the
racing circus, whether with two or four wheels. The developers have managed to combine seemingly contradictory properties
to unite:

• Abrasion resistant: maximum tread grip and high puncture protection combined with high mileage
• Wet grip: high chemical grip in wet conditions and on muddy, slippery surfaces

 

LITE

This technology focuses on minimum weight and maximum rolling efficiency while still providing reliable puncture protection. The light and soft carcass ensures a smooth ride and maximum speed output on any track.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
