Spank 350 Rim 29" - 28 Hole - black

The Spank 350 rim uses the innovative Bead Bite technology, the OohBah profile and is, for the ultimate durability, made of Dynamal alloy. It comes with a jaw width of 30mm with a total width of 35mm.

Contrary to all current trends in the market, the rim's profile is very low with 17mm tread height. Lab tests showed that lower and wider profile have about 30% more compliance compared to a conventional alloy rim. This additional radial compliance drastically reduces the deformation of the wheel when it abruptly encounters obstacles. Instead of deviating from its intended line, the rim is better able to conform and thus follow the rider's movement. This is often referred to as the wheel's tracking capability. This responsiveness allows riders to re-inflate the tire, which contributes to better traction, improves acceleration and rolling speed, and reduces tire rebound.

OohBah

The term describes Spank's exclusive rim profile, which uses a special design to better dissipate the flow of forces that occur, thus avoiding dents. In addition, the wall can be adjusted at various points to make the rim lighter in construction without sacrificing stability.

BeadBite

This is a patented technology to dramatically increase tubeless performance. Simply put, it involves a series of small parallel ribs within the rim bead. The tire bead interlocks with these ribs to form a secure and better sealed joint that dramatically reduces the risk of tire slap and air loss, even at extremely low tire pressures.

Dynamal

This is an aluminum alloy enriched with magnesium and silicon, which offers unparalleled stiffness and unprecedented resistance to permanent deformation compared to conventionally used alloys.
