The Alp Trainer 2 is a modern hiking boot with a mid-high shaft that reliably protects you during long hikes on rough terrain. It has a durable, high-quality suede upper with hard-wearing stretch inserts on the tongue and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining. The generous rubber rand provides added protection from rock edges and scree.
The shoe was designed specifically for women to accommodate the unique shape of the female foot. It has a precise fit, gives your foot support and is comfortable the first time you put it on. Our patented 3F System provides firm ankle support and lateral stability on rough terrain, while the soft Flex Collar gives the ankle more room to move and increases comfort downhill.
With the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+), you can choose between different insoles to tailor the shoe volume to you. The climbing shoe lacing system also allows for individual tightening up to the toes.
The optimized Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, offered only by SALEWA®, improves performance and control on a wide variety of mountain terrain. With its special climbing, grip and braking zones, it also excels in wet and muddy conditions.
