Sustainable is sustainably reinforced

For even more safety and a longer service life, the Road Cruiser with environmentally friendly Green Compound in the Plus variant is protected by the extremely effective 3 mm thick PunctureGuard puncture protection.
The directional tread convinces with high grip, smooth running and low rolling resistance. In addition, the tire can be used on E-Bikes up to 25 km/h.

Green Compound

A bicycle tire consists of many different materials. The tread, however, is made entirely of rubber and accounts for about 70 to 80 percent of the tire's total rubber content. Therefore, it is precisely here that the use of sustainably produced rubber makes the most sense. The tread rubber is made from natural rubber from renewable rubber trees and from recycled rubber materials such as rubber gloves and door seals. This saves not only raw materials but also energy during production. Added to this is the absence of carbon black in the Green Compound. All in all, this is a not inconsiderable step toward sustainability.

Puncture-Guard

The carcass is protected with a woven layer of Kevlar and also receives a 3mm thick layer of rubber, which effectively prevents the penetration of sharp objects.
