Blackline Technologies

Innovative technology for high-end performance. The Blackline series from Evoc combines the proven technological standard of Evoc’s Protector backpacks with the revolutionary, innovative Liteshield Carrying System Air. The close fit to the back required for a protector is maintained, but heat buildup is significantly reduced by special ventilation elements.

Liteshield System Air

In addition to the key features of protection, load transfer, and an absolutely neutral carrying feel, the newly developed LITESHIELD SYSTEM AIR has been specifically optimized for maximum back ventilation. The major challenge was to combine the close fit to the body—absolutely necessary for a back protector—with maximum air circulation.

The close-fitting back panel features a large central ventilation channel along with two rows of "ventilation grilles": Air Mesh-covered EVA foam strips with ventilation holes, combined with a special angled bevel cut, reduce the contact surface with the back and thus improve air circulation. The extra-wide, ergonomically shaped hip belt is made of Evoc’s AIRO FLEX material. This transfers the main load—even from a fully loaded backpack—to the hips, where it is secured, while simultaneously ensuring optimal breathability.

Airo Flex

Airo Flex refers to an extremely durable fabric that is both breathable and flexible. Evoc uses it in its highest-quality hip belts to combine optimal load transfer to the hips with maximum ventilation—for the highest level of comfort.
