The Maxxis Overdrive has everything you expect from a modern City and Trekking tire and also surprises with innovative extras. The high-quality carcass with 60 TPI is not only protected as usual under the tread, but also all around the sidewalls with a robust SilkShield. The very durable rubber compound in the center of the tread convinces with low rolling resistance and is complemented on the sides by a grippy compound that provides best cornering grip even in wet conditions. Reflective stripes on the sidewalls increase safety in poor visibility. With its high stability at low weight, the Overdrive Excel is also very suitable for e-Bikes with support up to 25 km/h.
