TheRacing 6 is an entry-level wheelset that’s ideal for racing.

The wheelset offers the quality you’ve come to expect from Fulcrum, with state-of-the-art features such as two different rim profile heights for the front and rear and Spoke Dynamic Balance technology. Fulcrum’s engineers have further improved the quality of this wheelset by adding an asymmetrical rear rim, which delivers even better performance in terms of lateral and torsional stiffness as well as responsiveness. The rim is 17C, in line with today’s standard. 

Features of the Racing 6 wheelset

Rim Dynamic Balance™: The concept is simple and ingenious: the mass at the rim joint is balanced by an equivalent mass positioned exactly opposite it. To achieve this, two spokes with an enlarged cross-section are used in the area directly opposite the rim joint. The result is a wheel that is perfectly balanced during rotation.

2:1 Two-to-On™: Double the number of spokes in critical areas prevents the spokes from giving way and thus prevents the rim from losing tension.

Anti-Rotation System™: Hubs and spokes form a rigid and solid unit and do not lose their initial tension.

Traceability: A guarantee of quality—a small white label allows the wheel to be traced back to its origin.

Wide Rim Tech: The greater width allows for a perfect combination with 25/28 mm tires or wider.

Differentiated Rim Height: 24.5 mm on the front wheel for optimal handling and 27.5 mm on the rear wheel for the most efficient power transfer to the drive wheel.

Asymmetrical Rear Rim Profile: The asymmetrical profile of the rear rim provides better balance between the different spoke tensions on the right and left sides, lending greater symmetry to an inherently asymmetrical component. Benefits: improved efficiency and enhanced responsiveness.
