Revelate Designs Mag Tank Bolt On EcoPac Top Tube Bag 1L - Black

Revelate Designs has taken the popular Mag-Tank™ developed a version that is compatible with the top tube bolts.

Instead of a zipper opening, access to the bag is through a smartly shaped top flap held in place by a magnetic buckle with mechanical engagement ( the magnet helps close it while the load is placed on a link ). Unlike a traditional magnetic closure, the Mag-Tank won't open unintentionally if you land your bike upside down in the trees. You can easily open the bag with one hand by pulling outward on the cord loop. This gives you access to the entire top of the bag. To close, simply slide the flap down and the buckle locks into place by itself!

Compared to the standardGas Tank, the Mag-Tank is slightly smaller to prevent your legs from hitting the edge of the flap opening.

While the cover on this bag is designed to keep out rain and splashing water, the large opening means that the bag is not sealed or waterproof. Even though the closure is secure, there is a possibility that small or loose items may fall out of the bag when the bike is on uneven trails or on its side. It is therefore recommended that small items such as loose keys and gummy bears are stored in a pouch.
