Two outer shell elements provide additional cushioning for the rearfoot area and ensure ideal guidance and direct energy return for the midfoot and forefoot area. Furthermore, an additionally incorporated carbon reinforcement minimizes energy loss and prevents puncturing of pointed elements. The upper is made in one piece and, like the lightweight tongue construction, has no unnecessary seams to prevent pressure points. In addition, the padding in the collar and heel area ensures an optimal balance of comfort and flexibility. The LOWA® TRAC® sole system with its slightly twisted studs guarantees the necessary grip on any terrain and during fast movements.
