Petzl Bar for Attache Screw Carabiner

The BAR is removable and can be inserted into the ATTACHE carabiner to make it unidirectional. It ensures that the carabiner is loaded along its longitudinal axis when belaying or roping up on a glacier. It offers comfort and greater safety, as the locking sleeve of the carabiner cannot be accidentally unscrewed while the BAR bar is closed.

Features of the Petzl BAR

• It enables unidirectional use of the ATTACHE carabiner and ensures that the carabiner is loaded along its longitudinal axis when belaying or roping up on a glacier.
• The BAR bar cannot be closed until the locking sleeve is fully screwed down, which reduces the risk of operating errors.
• The locking sleeve of the carabiner cannot be accidentally unscrewed while the BAR gate is closed.
• BAR is compatible with the current ATTACHE carabiner (M038AA00/M038AA01) as well as with the previous ATTACHE version (M38A SL).
