Product description:

The weight-optimized 612 Ergowave Carbon was specially developed to meet the needs of racers on road bikes and MTBs. At 147g, it is the lightest model in the 612 Ergowave series. Thanks to its wave-like shape and raised rear, the saddle ensures perfect rearward support and optimum pressure distribution down to the deep structures of the body, significantly improving power transmission to the pedals. The lower nose in combination with the recess in the middle creates more space and clearance for the perineal area. The flat, yet slim SQlab MaxContact® saddle nose and the firm padding of the 612 have been optimally adapted to the needs of road bikes.

• THE PERFECT FIT
  The prerequisite for maximum performance is a fit that is perfectly tailored to the athlete.
  Available widths: 12 / 13 / 14 / 15cm
• SPORTY REAR
  The raised rear provides more support to the rear and ensures more efficient power transmission.
• SAVE ENERGY
  The shape of the Ergowave®'s wave-shaped elevation, which stretches forward from the rear, perfectly matches the mostly bulbous ischial branches. The rider does not have to adopt any energy-sapping protective postures. All the energy is available for propulsion.
• LOWERED SADDLE NOSE
  The lower saddle nose puts less pressure on sensitive areas. For men and women alike.
• WARNING - UCI
  (UCI regulations: The saddle nose may be a maximum of 1 cm below the highest point of the saddle). All riders taking part in events subject to the UCI regulations are requested to ensure that the saddle is fitted so that the saddle nose points slightly upwards. • THE DIP
  The slight dip in the middle of the saddle reduces pressure on the sensitive structures of the perineal area.
• DEEP AND FLAT
  The flat, only very slightly curved shape of the saddle nose maximizes the contact surface with correspondingly little pressure. As a result, the nose is also very narrow and lateral friction during pedaling is reduced to a minimum. This shape, called SQlab MaxContact®, has already proven itself in several other racing models in recent years and has been implemented even more consistently for the Ergowave® series.
