The Airspeed Disc is a versatile and affordable carbon wheelset that is suitable for both training and racing. With the new AIR+PLUS UD carbon rim in a U-shape profile, it offers improved aerodynamics and saves 240 g in weight. The new Vektor hubs are equipped with larger precision bearings for more durability and less friction, as well as 4 pawls and 48 teeth for fast power transmission.

Technologies

AIR+PLUS High Speed Technology | The AIR+PLUS design maximizes control in crosswinds and allows the use of wide tires without negatively affecting the airflow. The fully curved rim with a maximum width of 28 mm ensures maximum aerodynamics.

PSG (Perfect Spoke Geometry) | Progress uses special reinforcement materials and a perfectly matched spoke angle geometry for each rim. This results in optimum tension, high performance and avoids spoke breakage, which increases the durability of the wheels.

Tire width recommendation | For maximum aerodynamic efficiency, tire widths should not exceed the outer width of the rim. The AIR+PLUS rims enable seamless integration of 23-25 mm tires, which significantly reduces aerodynamic drag.
