MetroLoads Pro – Meeting the Demands of Cargo Bike Riders

Cargo bikes are designed differently to conventional bicycles and therefore place special demands on the tires. Sturdy sidewalls and a high load capacity are the basis, while an all-season rubber compound with good grip in all weathers is the key and is particularly important for the front wheels of a cargo bike. The narrow tread pattern with wide sipes in the center reduces rolling resistance, while segmented side sipes ensure excellent cornering grip.

The Pro model of the MetroLoads tires uses the HighMileage version of the proven 4 Season compound, which doubles the range once again. In addition to the reinforced sidewalls, the cargo tire also features the reliable UrbanPro double carcass. In combination, this results in an even higher load capacity and an overall package that also meets the requirements of professional cargo cyclists.
