The Claris R2000 series shifters are not only ideal for bikes with flat handlebars, they also offer reliable and intuitive shifting behavior, which is due in no small part to the 2-Way Release function. In addition, the right-hand Rapidfire Plus shift lever enables downshifting by 3 gears in a single movement. Even more control when shifting is ensured by the easy-to-read optical gear display (OGD).

Rapidfire Plus | With this shift lever system, the thumb is used to shift to a larger sprocket and the index finger to a smaller sprocket. When downshifting, up to 3 gear steps can be changed simultaneously.

2-Way Release | The 2-Way Release function allows the release of the shift cable by pressing with the thumb or pulling with the index finger. So you do not have to adjust your riding style to the rear derailleur, but the rear derailleur adapts to your riding style.
