In the good old days of the automobile, GT stood for "Grand Tourisme" - large four-seaters with plenty of space and a powerful engine that were particularly suitable for touring and traveling. The Aristos GT is very much in this tradition, even though it has no engine and only two wheels. The latest addition to the Aristos family is also predestined for touring and traveling. GT therefore stands for "Gravel Tourer" in the Aristos.

Optimal for luggage

The Aristos GT has largely integrated cable routing, although this integration is less for design reasons and more to accommodate luggage - such as a handlebar bag. On a "normal" bike, the cables are in the way to attach the bag easily. On the GT, they are routed through the head tube. There are also two threaded eyelets for top cases on the top tube to better accommodate luggage. Practical for storing small essentials such as phone, money, papers and bars that you want to access quickly. This means that the GT has four mounting points on the main frame.

Classic but modern

The geometry of the GT is based on the CX and the R, combining classic elements with integration. The rear triangle and fork are designed for 28" wheels, for tire widths up to 45 mm and 40 mm with mudguards. The tubes of the frame are rounder than on the CX, which not only gives it a more classic look, but also makes the lower price possible. The GT also comes with a carbon fork for price and weight reasons. It is lighter, yet cheaper, and has three threaded eyelets on each side for attaching light luggage. However, unlike the titanium fork on the CX and R, a front rack cannot be fitted.

Comfort

Comfort must not be neglected on a touring-oriented bike in order to allow the rider to enjoy a fatigue-free ride for as long as possible. Good vibration damping is essential on rooted paths, rough gravel tracks, all-road use or on fast hardpack - and the Aristos GT shines here with many sources of comfort.
