Low weight, stiffness and durability were the objective – and this was definitely achieved with the development of the Force chainring kit. Its unique design, with its one-piece, integrated design previously only used in the RED models, makes it the most durable chainring set from SRAM to date.

To provide faster, smoother and safer shifting, the lightweight aluminum chainring pair relies on the innovative X-RANGE™ transmission philosophy. The chainring gradation with 13 teeth difference ensures precise shifting in any setup and reduces dramatic cadence changes when operating the front derailleur.

X-RANGE™ | To meet the diverse applications of modern road cycling, it requires a drivetrain system that offers the right gear in every situation. Since shifting operations at the rear derailleur are inherently more efficient than at the chainring, X-Range shifts some of the gear range from front to rear. While a smaller, uniform difference of always 13 teeth is applied between the chainrings, the cassettes can come up with a larger transmission range of up to 360 %.
