The Vulpine is the perfect tire for gravel racers who want to be at the top of their game, as well as everyday riders looking for an efficient tire that performs well on a variety of surfaces including asphalt, hardpack and gravel. The lightweight yet robust tire has a very narrow tread pattern, which creates an almost uninterrupted centerline and thus reduces rolling resistance. The rest of the tread has been filled with short lugs to further promote efficiency, minimize the risk of punctures and deliver predictable cornering traction.

Details of the WTB Vulpine

TCS (Tubeless Compatible System)

Tires with the TCS marking are Tubeless-Ready. They have a durable aramid bead in combination with a supple carcass. TCS tires must be mounted on a tubeless-ready rim with Tubeless rim tape, Tubeless valve and tire sealant.

Light Fast Rolling (LFR)

A fast and efficient rubber compound on the tread paired with softer side lugs and a lightweight carcass. The result is a compliant and supple tire that still impresses with optimum durability.

Dual DNA rubber compound

Dual DNA is the perfect blend of efficiency, traction and durability. The center tread is made of a harder rubber compound for faster rolling and increased durability, while the side tread is made of softer rubber for improved handling and grip.

Slash Guard (SG)

The Slash Guard puncture protection is a lightweight, thin nylon insert that covers the entire tire and is specially designed to protect the sidewalls.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
