Super Deluxe – Claim to the crown.
More grip, more traction, more control on the toughest tracks and wildest trails. Riders who demand absolute high performance and high adjustability can end their search with the Super Deluxe from RockShox. Give your trail bike not only the performance upgrade it needs to master even the toughest terrain, but also the efficiency to climb back up effortlessly after the descent.
In the latest generation, the multi-award-winning all-mountain rear shock has reduced compression damping, thanks to which it makes short work of every downhill section. The proven RC2T damping contains a whole arsenal of adjustment and tuning options for every rider and every trail: an independently adjustable high-speed and low-speed compression as well as a quickly activated Threshold for easier progress in uphill and pedaling passages. With 15 clicks, the rebound adjustment also provides a wider range of customization options, while the high-flow main piston reduces the high-speed compression on hard hits to allow responsive rear wheel articulation and prevent suspension hang-up.

DebonAir+ | The prerequisite for smooth compression and rebound is optimum frame leverage. To improve this, the DebonAir+ air suspension offers a high degree of adjustability and fine-tuning potential. The option of equipping progressive frames with linear spring rates and linear frames with progressive spring rates is supplemented by the use of tokens – the familiar Bottomless Tokens and Negative Volume Tokens – , which create additional stages between the air reservoirs. Riders not only get the specific kinematics for their bike, but can also determine exactly how their air suspension feels – from smoothing out small bumps to playful and poppy or somewhere in between.
Hydraulic Bottom Out (HBO) | This technology restricts the oil flow in the last 20 % of the suspension travel and provides a smooth hydraulic damping system that prevents harsh bottoming out. With air suspension, there is a needle at the bottom of the shock tube which is inserted through an orifice further and further into the shock piston as it approaches full travel. The energy absorption process typically begins in the second half of the spring travel, so that the damper is compressed more slowly from this point onwards. The Hydraulic Bottom Out system is also designed to work with Bottomless Tokens. Only fewer tokens are needed to achieve a more controlled and stable feel when using the full travel.
Maxima Plush Fluid | Great suspension needs great oil. Developed on the toughest tracks in the world, Maxima Plush Dynamic ensures consistently high performance that feels the same in all temperatures. Not only does it noticeably reduce suspension wear, but also friction and damper noise.
